Barnett Vortex Lite Compound Bow with Three Fiberglass Arrows

A,B and C inserts are provided to adjust draw weight and length but using C yields only 22” draw length to the berber hole, NOT the 25” claimed in the listing and package insert. Design is implausible that draw length would adjust as claimed. Axel to axel is just 27.5”. Pull is rough without a good let-off. The rest provided (1st photo) looks like it won’t grab a 6 o’clock index vane but the rest functions poorly and seems to kick the fletching when firing. Definitely doesn’t work with helical fletching. I replaced the rest with an SAS drop away and then the bow was very accurate (tight group including “Robin Hood” @60 ft, in 3rd photo). A huge problem with the cheap, fiberglass arrows provided is the tips are GLUED on, not inserted, so the have a “lip” (2nd photo) that catches and makes it VERY difficult to remove from a target. Forget them and get 26” or 28” carbon arrows; spine of 600 is fine.
